From the breathtaking lookouts of scenic world to the depths of Jenolan Caves, our travellers explored all the wonders the Blue Mountains had to offer. We braved the front rows of the scenic railway, descending into the belly of the mountains, strolled through the lush rainforests, got up close with Katoomba Falls, rode the cable car and perched ourselves high on Echo Point to enjoy the spectacular view of the Three Sisters.
Our day at the Jenolan caves was both fun and educational. As we trekked down into the caves, our guide told us fascinating stories of the cave’s history including Dreaming stories of the Gundungurra People and tales of early European exploration. Some of our bravest adventurers decided to take a challenging side route deep into the underworld, eventually coming across the milky, blue waters of the underground River Styx.
If all of this wasn’t adventurous enough, we capped off the last day of our trip with indoor skydiving at ifly! Everyone got to test their flying ability numerous times with much encouragement and cheering from their fellow travellers. There were many high fives going around. The staff at ifly were wonderful coaches and we all got a flight certificate at the end to take home and show off to our friends and families.
