We all knew we were in for a fun filled trip as soon as we met up at Sydney Airport. Our keen and happy participants were pleased to meet Scott before boarding our plane to Surfers Paradise! Upon arrival at our lovely, spacious apartment we were greeted with panoramic views of the beach and ocean! We settled in and decided to hit the town for a delicious Mexican lunch on the beach strip. We later explored the area on foot and enjoyed a refreshing dip in the apartments pool.
The next day, we cooked up breakfast in our kitchen before heading off to Ripley’s Believe It or Not! We were delighted with the amazing collection of weird and wonderful displays! That night we enjoyed and amazing Brazilian BBQ dinner, right in the heart of Surfers.
The next day we all had a ball at Holoverse. We became one with the ocean and were amazed with the 3D interactive shows.
That night, the travellers enjoyed singing karaoke at one of the popular nightspots where we met some of the locals and shared plenty of good times. There were renditions of Celine Dion among some other CLASSIC pub hits.
The next day we decided to enjoy a refreshing dip in the ocean at Main Beach. Today was going to be a relaxing day, just exploring Surfers at our leisure. Nowhere to be quickly, it was the perfect way to enjoy our QLD South Coast getaway. We later enjoyed dinner at one of the pubs followed by a spectacular street performance.
We were all eventually a little sad to see our holiday come to an end , but we left with some wonderful memories and happy snaps.
