What an unforgettable experience of culture and relaxation in beautiful Bali! Staying 7 nights at the amazing Melasti Resort in Legian, each day saw us have breakfast by the beach, relaxing swims in the resort the pool and 8 days of incredible sightseeing. There was even time for plenty of shopping.
Our first sightseeing adventure took us to the Ubud Monkey Temple, where we saw the cheeky monkeys, followed by a tour of the Tanah Lot Temple. Our travellers got to experience a number of water sports, along with a splash and slide day at Waterbom Waterpark. Our local guides also took us on a tour of Kinta Mani Lake and surrounds.
Another adventure was to ride on a glass bottom boat over to meet the cute residents at Turtle Island. There we learnt all about the conservation of the turtles; saw bats, local birds and a toucan. Some of us were brave enough to hold a snake! From Turtle Island, we went further into the bay where a few of the group experienced snorkelling.
A major highlight was our unique experience of visiting Jimbaran Bay. Where, after a long stroll, we stopped at a local restaurant for a seafood feast right on the beach. Our table was in the sand – what a beautiful way to watch the sunset and feast on the tastiest seafood ever!
On our last night was spent on the famous Bali Hai Dinner Cruise.
The holiday was super busy! All travellers returned relaxed, refreshed and ready to plan our next adventure.
