So much to see and do in our capital of Australia – beautiful Canberra. We settled quickly into the very stylish QT and lapped up the luxury. On our first evening we got to see the spectacular New Parliament House all lit up and looking stunning on Capital Hill.

From tip toeing in the tulips at Floriade we ventured over to the National Museum of Australia. From the makers of Shrek, Madagascar, Trolls and many more, we saw the extraordinary exhibition celebrating over 25 years of DreamWorks Animation. After a yummy dinner we got to see the incredible talents of two of our Trusted Travelers hit the stage at Karoeke. We we’re blown away.

The next day we discovered and had lot’s of fun at Questacon. Everyone got involved in the hands on experiences and experiments. In the afternoon we ventured into the delightful and fascinating displays at Cockington Green. It’s an enchanting world of tiny people and tiny structures set in the most beautiful surrounding gardens.

On our last day before going home we made a visit to the Iconic Black Mountain Tower and enjoyed the panoramic views of the city and surrounding countryside.

On the way home we all agreed that Canberra is more than just the Bush capital of Australia. We thoroughly enjoyed the sight seeing and we were beyond happy that we had made new friends.
