We set out on a magical “Frozen” adventure! On the journey, we gave our vocal chords a workout singing all the songs we knew from the movie; of course, “Let It Go, Let It Go” was most popular. We checked into our accommodation, and then we had a lovely lunch at Darling Harbour.
We made our way back to our accommodation for some down time before we got ready for our much-awaited show. Everyone was so excited!
We made our way to The Capitol Theatre and as soon as we saw the interior lit up in blue and snowflakes all ‘round, we knew we were in for a treat!
The show was incredible and was very much enjoyed by all. “Frozen the musical” was so inspiring. A tale of sisterhood and true love that came to life in front of our very eyes, with gorgeous sets and costumes and the sensational special effects, sounds and lights…There was only one word for it: “Magical”. After a show like that, souvenirs were a must. Anna and Olaf Dolls and official show CDs were high on everyone’s shopping list. After a very busy day, we went back to our accommodation to get some much-needed rest, ready for the adventures that awaited us the following day.
After a good night’s sleep, we packed our bags and checked out of our hotel. There was only one place to go for a big pancake breakfast when you’re in The Rocks – Pancakes on the Rocks.
Next up, we went sightseeing on “The Big Red Bus” open top double decker bus. We soaked up all the sights (not unlike a pancake) that the Harbour City had to offer; St. Mary’s Cathedral, Hyde Park Barracks, Sydney Tower, Australian Museum, Sydney Opera House and of course the Sydney Harbour Bridge! This was truly one of the highlights of our trip. After our sightseeing tour, we enjoyed our last lunch together.
On the way home, we listened to and sang along with a Frozen CD purchased at the show. All good things must come to an end so when we arrived back in Wollongong, we said farewell to our new friends and hope to see them soon on our next Trusted Travel adventure.
