We arrived at our destination, checked into our hotel, and got ready for a fun-packed (and well-deserved) City Escape! We wandered around the beautiful Chinese Garden of Friendship in Darling Harbour, chatting and getting to know our future new friends when we were lucky enough to stumble upon some water dragons sun baking in the sun. We headed back to the hotel for a chilled-out arvo before a big night ahead. After a delicious dinner, we checked out the Luminous light art installation, projected onto the buildings of Darling Harbour! We had a ride on the Ferris wheel to take in the breathtaking views of the city night lights.
After a refreshing night’s sleep, had breakfast together, talking excitedly about the day ahead. We finished up and set off on an adventure to Taronga Zoo. Our fallen veterans not to be forgotten on Remembrance Day, we paid our respect with a one-minute silence before continuing with the zoo shenanigans. We got to see a cute baby gorilla, penguins and a cheeky seal that likes to play peekaboo! After a big day of adventure, we enjoyed dinner together and some down time at the hotel. What a massive day, we had to relax before day 3!
We fuelled up our bellies, revved up the engines and went on an awesome Harley Davidson trike ride. Through the City, over Sydney Harbour Bridge, Gladesville Bridge and Anzac Bridge, the guys from Troll Tours were amazing!
Tonight, we got dressed up a little bit fancy for our gourmet dinner cruise aboard a Captain Cook Cruises Vessel, ready to be treated to 5-star service on Sydney Harbour. We enjoyed our last dinner taking in all the historic sights that Sydney had to offer and of course with lots of fun and laughs along the way.
On our last day we packed our bags, enjoyed a yummy breakfast together and headed to Manly. We walked along the beach, checked out the shops along The Corso, purchased some souvenirs to remind us of our holiday to Sydney and enjoyed our last meal together.
We had so much fun on our action-packed City Escape Holiday with our new friends – Can’t wait to do it again!
