Mowbray Park Farm is like a journey back in time. It has a rich history dating back to the early days of European settlement in Australia, since 1822! All around the property you get this sense of time and history, the modern mixing with the old. The farm stay experience came into existence in the early 1980s and over the following 30+ years has evolved into one of the best farm experiences in Australia.
A visit to Mowbray Park will enlighten, educate and entertain people of all ages as we experience real farm life. Farm activities are central to the Mowbray Park Farmstay experience, we’re sure you will love the animal nursery! We’ll help feed animals of all sizes: donkeys, alpacas, ducks and sheep; you might help bottle feed a calf; you’ll certainly help milk a cow. For those keen to have a go, there is the horse trail ride too.
When we’re not participating in one of our farm organised activities then it is a perfect opportunity to enjoy some of the other activities such as canoeing, archery, tennis & swimming!
Throw in some tractor rides, boomerang throwing, whip cracking, billy tea & damper & a sit around a camp fire to toast some marshmallows, Mowbray Park has it all.
All you need to do is pack your bags and come down to the farm with us!
