It IS the happiest place on earth after all. Disneyland is most certainly a land of enchantment where the young at heart find that dreams really do come true. Our supported holiday package includes a 3 day park hopper pass so we have the freedom to explore both Disneyland Parks as much as we like!
Then, we’re off to Los Angeles!!! We’ll be awed by the dazzling sights of this amazing city and surrounds on our own private tour of places such as Hollywood Boulevard, the Stars Walk of Fame, Santa Monica Pier, Venice Beach, Beverly Hills, the famous Hollywood sign and we’ll also go star spotting and check out some of the Celebrity mansions!
Of course we’re going to Universal Studios… Get ready for the ultimate Hollywood movie experience! First, go behind the scenes on the legendary Studio Tour to explore where Hollywood movies are made. Experience the largest movie set street expansion in Hollywood history built with creative consultation by Steven Spielberg himself. Be immersed in the full back lot experience from the comfort of the new trams with built-in state-of-the-art HD monitors. Don’t miss the all-new Special Effects Stage, where you’ll learn the secrets behind the making of your favourite blockbuster movies. Then for those adventurous travellers, face action head-on in heart-pounding rides, shows and attractions that put you inside some of the world’s biggest movies.
Also included is a half day at Warner Bros. Studios. Warner Bros. Studio Tour brings you up close and personal with the sets and sound-stages where the magic of Hollywood is made. The knowledgeable tour guides will take you behind the scenes of their famous 110-acre backlot where classic movies and TV shows like Casablanca, Batman and Friends were filmed. Here, you’ll explore the authentic sets and soundstages where hit shows like Ellen, The Big Bang Theory and many more are currently filmed! Plus, you’ll visit The Prop Department, Batcave and The Warner Archive, which features two floors of memorabilia that tells the story of how your favourite movies and TV shows came to life.
We will have a day here and there to rest and recuperate in our hotel and take in the local sights of Anaheim. Staying right across the road from Disneyland itself, we can hop in and out during our Disneyland days and then on the days we are not enjoying Disneyland or LA we can explore Anaheim, it has so many fun things to see and do.
On our final day before we fly out, we will be able to stock up on some bargains and souvenirs on the “Shop until you drop… off at LAX” tour. No sitting around the airport for hours! We will get picked up from your hotel, then get taken to the Citadel Shopping outlets in LA. They have luggage storage rooms where our luggage will be safe. We are then free to wander around the outlets and do any shopping you want. There is also a VIP lounge available for before/after your shopping – it has Wi-Fi, TVs, phone chargers and offers snacks and drinks throughout the day, included as part of the shopping package. There is also a “repacking” service available to pack all your purchases into your luggage. At the end of the day, we’ll get picked up and dropped off at LAX airport for our flight home. This holiday experience will be truly amazing and something you will remember for the rest of your life!
