The capital of Queensland, Brisbane is a popular tourist destination. With the river to cruise along, the inner-city beach and stunning gardens, restaurants a-plenty (including 24hour pancakes at the Pancake Manor!), and we won’t go past the massive Ferris wheel overlooking the city’s south.

You’ll visit Australia’s only inner-city, man-made beach! Boasting a sparkling blue lagoon surrounded by white, sandy beaches and sub-tropical plants. Streets Beach is an oasis in the middle of Brisbane City. Next to Streets Beach are two other aquatic spaces – the Boat Pool and Aquativity, an interactive water-play park.

Hop aboard the river cat and cruise the river between the high-rise buildings of the city. Destination, Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary. Visit the furry pals and say hi to the other animals at the sanctuary. Not just Koalas call this place home, but over 80 other species too!

Towering over the South Bank precinct is the super impressive Brisbane Wheel. At 60 metres tall, you can see about anywhere from up there! And wheelchair friendly too, we love that!

Spend a morning at the Collective Markets. South Bank comes alive with marketplace buzz on a Sunday morning. The perfect opportunity to pick up a treat for yourself or loved ones to remember your Brisbane holiday.

Brisbane is often overlooked as a city holiday destination. We get know why! It’s a fantastic place to holiday! Come along and join us for this fun-filled city explorer.
